Industry Experience:
William served in the United States Marine Corps from 1993 to 2002. Since 2001 he has maximized his experience through governance, management, tribal business development, and negotiating government and tribal contracts in partnership with tribal governments across the state of Oklahoma.
William believes in the importance of being a sovereign nation and advocating for all tribal citizens.
William currently serves in a variety of roles on behalf of tribal initiatives:
- Okmulgee District Representative and Chairman of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation Business, Finance, and Justice Committee
- Human Resources Director of Bacone College
- Board of Directors for the National Center for the American Indian Enterprise Development
- President of the Five Civilized Tribes Museum
- Second Vice President of the Okmulgee Lions Club
- Okmulgee County YMCA
- Lake Area United Way
William was privileged to serve as the 2016 President of the American Indian Chamber of Commerce of Oklahoma (AICCO) and in the development of Leadership Native Oklahoma.
